My father, Robert Palmer Jr., signed one of northAmerican Van Line’s first national moving service contracts with an automotive original equipment manufacturer in 1968. Palmer has continued to evolve, grow, meet and exceed the needs of the ever-changing household relocation customer.

Humble Beginnings…

In 1910, a dairy delivery man named Robert Palmer started moving furniture on the weekends for friends and soon realized there was a better life in cartage. From 2 horses and a wagon to 3 companies, 200 trucks and 300 employees providing world class transportation solutions in 107 years.

My name is Terri Palmer Burton and I am proud to be a third generation owner and manager of our family business.
